Yet again, we had a lot of entrants in last weekend’s PS3 giveaway, so thanks to everyone who participated. Unfortunately we can only have one winner, and that one winner is THEOBAMANIZER, also known as Jason.
Well known to the NFS team, we’d like to congratulate Jason on his win :)
We’ll be sending you your PS3 soon!
As you guys know we had our Need for Speed Hot Pursuit On Tour event in San Francisco this past weekend and it was AMAZING! Everyone was having a really fun time playing NFSHP, taking photos in the photobooth, and watching two incredible musical acts.
Del the Funky Homosapien was the first to hit the stage and he definitely brought it. What I found interesting and cool about Del is how he transformed when he got up on stage. By this I mean, beforehand, Del was playing NFSHP rather intensely. He was glued to the screen and couldn’t be bothered. The whole time he was rather quiet and kept playing.

Once he got up on stage though, WOW, he was a brand new person! The moment the mic hit his hand, like I said, he transformed. It was amazing to see. He went through a number of songs and the crowd was mesmerized the whole time.
Immediately after Del, Mix Master Mike hit the stage. The crowd didn’t even get a break, not that they were too concerned =P Mike was like Del in that he was playing Hot Pursuit pretty much until he went on stage.

Once he stopped playing though, he went into making the crowd jump and dance.

In fact, a random break dancing competition started up, which only added to the night!
All in all, as I’ve said before, it was a great night. We’ll have a bunch of cool video coming from the event as well. Be on the lookout for something with Paul Pierce, Mix Master Mike and, of course, our recap video :) Given the response we’ve gotten from both NYC and CHI, I’m sure the SF video will be great!
Phew! This weekend raced by, which is in directly attributed to having attended the Need for Speed Hot Pursuit On Tour event in San Francisco! We’ve been to NYC, CHI and took over PAX last weekend, and this weekend the tour continued onward to San Francisco!
All in all it was a great night – some sports celebrities dropped by…

For instance, Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics.

As well as Dorell Wright and Reggie Williams of the Golden State Warriors.
Also, we had a SERIOUS lineup for everyone on Saturday...

Del the Funky Homosapien killed it up on stage.

Only to be followed by Mix Master Mike keeping things from ending until WELL into the night.
Of course, the main reason we were all there was for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, which was a hit with everyone for the entire night.

Stay tuned for a bunch more stuff coming from the San Francisco event! We’ll be having interviews with the likes of Mix Master Mike and Paul Pierce, and of course we’ll be bringing you the “recap video” of the entire night :)

With PAX hardly a memory, we’ve got to get ready to take over yet another city! This weekend Need for Speed Hot Pursuit On Tour will be screeching to a halt just long enough to hold an amazing event on Saturday, September 11th at Mighty. The lineup we’ve got for San Francisco is BIG – Mix Master Mike and Del the Funky Homosapien – so you know the night is going to be a good one.
If you can’t make it, keep an eye on our San Fran blog page, Facebook page and Twitter account to see all the articles, photos and videos coming out of the event!
